Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers functional rooms, clean and tidy with a sea view, complimentary Tea or Coffee on arrival, and bottled water in the bedrooms. However, the bar and breakfast required going to the next-door hotel, and the shower quality was poor, making it one of the worst rooms I have stayed in for the value.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The sea view and balcony made it perfect for enjoying the air festival, and the rooms were large, comfortable, and incredibly clean. The only downside was having to go next door for the bar and breakfast.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were lovely and had a terrace onto the roof, offering a spacious layout with a great view. However, the noise from the air conditioning outside the room was a bit intrusive at times, and there was some door slamming happening. Being right on the seafront provided stunning views of Bournemouth.
The hotel is right on the beach with quirky interior and a very chic vibe. The rooms felt a bit dated, lacking net curtains and having some maintenance issues, but the sea views were lovely. The service was friendly and accommodating although the closing time was a bit early. The location is perfect for the annual Air Show and offers stunning views of the beach and cliffs. The dining experience was nice, with traditional dishes but not exceptional for the price charged. Overall, a unique spot to enjoy the sea views and a convenient stay.
I had a lovely night stay at the hotel. It was nice and quiet, and I appreciated the complimentary Tea or Coffee on arrival and complimentary bottled water in the bedrooms. However, there were some initial issues with the service and noise from neighboring rooms. The location was great for a lovely walk into town, but the dining experience was a bit underwhelming with lukewarm food. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a few drawbacks.
The hotel offered a sea-facing room with a balcony, but the dated furniture and tired appearance were major drawbacks. However, the free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. The mattress was uncomfortable with springs sticking out.
The hotel had small but very cozy rooms, and the lovely Louise from Venezuela at reception made our stay pleasant. However, some areas of the hotel, like the old carpets, could use improvement, and a larger car parking area would be beneficial. Rooms were comfortable but could benefit from a slight upgrade in decor.
The hotel has a great location with a nice view of the sea, offering easy access to the beach. The rooms are comfortable, with excellent beds, but lacking air conditioning which made it a bit too warm for my comfort. The service was truly amazing, and the staff were friendly and unobtrusive. The location, while not ideal for visiting Bournemouth, is excellent for the Air Festival. The dining experience was convenient, being either next door or at the sister hotel, The Cotton Wood Boutique, offering a variety of options. Overall, a good value for the money spent.
The hotel rooms were quite small and a little dated for £90 a night, but they were spacious even with a double bed, a single bed, and a cot. The service was a mix of not very welcoming initially and helpful and efficient later on. The location was great for a lovely walk downhill into the main areas of Bournemouth, although noise from neighboring rooms was a downside. The dining experience offered a good standard of food but the Full English option was lacking in variety. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
My stay at the hotel was filled with mixed emotions. The location was fantastic, overlooking the sea and just a short walk from the beach and town center. The rooms, while spacious with wonderful views of Bournemouth, had some drawbacks like uncomfortable beds and a lack of cooling despite the beautiful seafront setting. The service from the staff was pleasant overall, but there were instances of inconsistency. Dining was a highlight with delicious food, but availability could be an issue. The facilities were adequate, though there were missed opportunities for improvement.
